When you truly understand the gospel given to Paul, these three words—forgiven, accepted, and free—become more than emotional comfort. They become the very definition of what it means to live in the dispensation of grace.
FORGIVEN — Past, Present, and Complete in Christ
Many believers today still beg God for forgiveness, thinking He will only forgive if they confess or feel sorry enough. But friend, that’s not the gospel of grace—that’s religion.
Paul declared:
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” — Ephesians 1:7
Notice: we have forgiveness. Not will have. Not if we confess. It’s a present possession. Because the blood of Christ has already paid it all, forgiveness today isn’t based on confession or performance—it’s based on Christ’s finished work.
Israel was taught to repent and be baptized for forgiveness (Acts 2:38), but the Body of Christ was told to trust in the cross and receive forgiveness freely by grace (Acts 13:38–39).
When you rightly divide the Word, you see that your forgiveness is complete, final, and unchangeable.
ACCEPTED — No Longer Striving, but Resting in Grace
Religion says: “Do more so God will accept you.”
Grace says: “You are accepted because of what Christ has done.”
Paul writes:
“To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.” — Ephesians 1:6
God doesn’t accept you because you’re faithful. He accepts you because Christ is faithful.
You’re not trying to earn God’s approval—you’re living from it.
In prophecy, Israel had to endure to the end to be accepted (Matthew 24:13).
But in the mystery revealed to Paul, we are accepted the moment we believe the gospel of grace (Ephesians 1:13).
That means God sees you in Christ—holy, righteous, and complete (Colossians 2:10).
FREE — Not Under Law, But Under Grace
The law says, “Do and live.”
Grace says, “It is done—now live.”
Paul boldly declared:
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…” — Galatians 5:1
Freedom in Christ isn’t a license to sin—it’s the liberty to live in newness of life, guided by the Spirit and grounded in truth. You’re no longer under the bondage of religion, guilt, or fear. You are free from sin’s penalty, free from the law’s condemnation, and free to serve Christ out of gratitude.
Romans 6:14 says it clearly:
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
That’s freedom religion can never give.
The Grace Truth
When you rightly divide, you see the beauty of your position in Christ:
• You’re forgiven — because His cross paid your sin in full.
• You’re accepted — because you’re placed in the Beloved, not in religion.
• You’re free — because you’re under grace, not law.
You don’t fight for victory—you live from it.
You don’t seek forgiveness—you rest in it.
You don’t strive for acceptance—you walk in it.
That’s the glory of this dispensation.
That’s the message entrusted to Paul.
That’s the gospel of grace we preach today.
“Forgiven. Accepted. Free.”
That’s not wishful thinking.
That’s your identity in Christ — revealed through the mystery.
