— Seeing God’s Plan Rightly Divided
The Bible is not random.
It is not scattered.
It is a perfectly ordered account of what God is doing through time.
But if we don’t rightly divide it…
We confuse everything.
Let’s walk through the big picture—simply, clearly, scripturally.
▪️THE BEGINNING — CREATION
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
— Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
Man begins.
Adam is placed in a perfect creation.
But sin enters—
And everything changes.
▪️THE FLOOD — JUDGMENT AND RESET
“And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth…”
— Genesis 7:19 (KJV)
God judges the world.
But He also preserves a remnant—Noah and his family.
After the flood:
• Human government is established (Genesis 9:6)
• Man is permitted to eat meat (Genesis 9:3)
A new stage begins.
▪️BABEL — THE RISE OF REBELLION
“Let us build us a city and a tower…”
— Genesis 11:4 (KJV)
Man unites—
Not to honor God—
But to replace Him.
God scatters the nations.
And idolatry spreads across the earth.
▪️ABRAHAM — A CALLED-OUT MAN
“Get thee out of thy country…”
— Genesis 12:1 (KJV)
God does something new.
He calls one man—
To form one nation—
To carry one promise.
Israel is born.
▪️MOSES AND THE LAW
“The law was given by Moses…”
— John 1:17 (KJV)
God gives Israel:
• A covenant
• A system
• A standard
The Law defines righteousness—
But cannot produce it.
▪️THE PROPHETIC CLOCK — DANIEL’S 70 WEEKS
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people…”
— Daniel 9:24 (KJV)
This timeline belongs to:
Israel.
483 years unfold—
Leading to the coming of Messiah.
And then—
The cross.
▪️A PAUSE — THE DISPENSATION OF GRACE
Here is where many miss it.
The prophetic program pauses.
Not ends—
But pauses.
God reveals something hidden before:
“The dispensation of the grace of God…”
— Ephesians 3:2 (KJV)
Now:
• Jew and Gentile are made one (Ephesians 2:14–16)
• Salvation goes out freely to all
• The Body of Christ is being formed
This is where we are today.
Not in prophecy—
But in mystery.
▪️THE FUTURE — THE FINAL 7 YEARS
After the Body of Christ is complete—
God resumes His dealings with Israel.
That final “week” of Daniel begins:
• A covenant is made (Daniel 9:27)
• A false peace emerges
But at the midpoint—
Everything changes.
▪️THE GREAT TRIBULATION
• The covenant is broken
• The temple is defiled
• Judgment intensifies
“And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was…”
— Daniel 12:1 (KJV)
God is not dealing in grace here—
But in wrath and purification.
▪️THE RETURN OF CHRIST
“And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives…”
— Zechariah 14:4 (KJV)
Christ returns.
Not in mystery—
But in power.
▪️THE KINGDOM
Israel is restored.
The promises are fulfilled.
The King reigns.
▪️WHY THIS MATTERS
If you mix these timelines—
You lose clarity.
But if you rightly divide:
• Israel’s program makes sense
• The Body of Christ stands distinct
• Grace shines clearly
Let this settle in:
We are not waiting for prophecy to be fulfilled.
We are living in a parenthesis of grace.
And that means—
Now is the time.
Now is the day.
“For he saith… now is the day of salvation.”
— 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV)
From creation to the kingdom—
God’s plan is clear.
And when you rightly divide it…
Everything finally fits.
