— Heaven’s Message for Today
Every one of Paul’s epistles opens with the same beautiful greeting:
“Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”
That is not just a polite introduction.
That is doctrine.
That is Heaven’s message for this present Dispensation of Grace.
Not law and condemnation.
Not wrath and judgment.
Not performance and religion.
Grace and peace.
When you rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), you begin to understand why Paul emphasizes this so constantly throughout his ministry.
Because God is doing something unique today.
He is not continuing Israel’s prophetic kingdom program.
He is revealing the mystery of Christ through Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles.
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles…”
— Romans 11:13 KJV
That matters.
Under Israel’s program, the Law exposed sin and demanded righteousness from man.
But under Grace, God gives righteousness freely through faith in Christ.
That is why Paul’s message begins with grace and results in peace.
• Grace toward sinners
• Peace through the cross
• Acceptance in Christ
• A heavenly calling for the Body of Christ
Religion says:
“Work for peace.”
Grace says:
“You already have peace with God through Christ.”
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Notice that carefully.
Not peace through rituals.
Not peace through sacraments.
Not peace through law-keeping.
Peace through Christ.
The world searches endlessly for peace while rejecting the very One who made peace possible.
“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross…”
— Colossians 1:20 KJV
The cross settled the sin issue completely.
That is why the gospel today is not about reforming yourself to earn God’s favor.
The gospel is the finished work of Christ:
“That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV
When a sinner trusts that gospel alone, God places them into Christ.
• Forgiven completely
• Justified freely
• Sealed eternally
• Blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places
That is grace.
And from that grace flows peace.
Not temporary emotional peace dependent on circumstances—
but positional peace rooted in what Christ accomplished at Calvary.
Sadly, many believers lose sight of this because they mix prophecy with mystery and law with grace.
They read Israel’s covenant warnings and apply them directly to the Body of Christ.
They place believers back under religious performance systems.
They turn grace into bondage.
But Paul warns against that confusion.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…”
— Galatians 5:1 KJV
The Body of Christ is not under the Mosaic Law.
We are not Israel.
We are not waiting for earthly kingdom blessings.
We are members of a heavenly Body with a heavenly purpose.
• Israel’s hope is earthly
• The Church’s hope is heavenly
• Prophecy concerns the kingdom
• Mystery concerns Christ and His Body
And today, Heaven’s message to this lost world is not:
“Earn acceptance.”
It is:
“Be reconciled to God.”
Grace is greater than your failure.
Grace is greater than your past.
Grace is greater than religion.
Because grace is centered in a Person — the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is why sound doctrine matters so deeply.
Wrong doctrine produces confusion.
Right division produces clarity.
Grace establishes the heart.
As believers grow in Pauline truth, they begin to rest in who they already are in Christ instead of striving to become what God has already made them.
Accepted.
Complete.
Seated in heavenly places.
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.”
— Ephesians 1:7 KJV
What a message.
What a Savior.
And what a privilege to live in this present Dispensation of Grace where God is forming the Church, the Body of Christ, for His heavenly purpose.
Grace and peace.
That is Heaven’s message for today.
And only the gospel of grace can give both.
