We can avoid it.
We can resist it.
We can explain it away.
But truth remains truth—
whether it is accepted or ignored.
“Let God be true, but every man a liar.” (Romans 3:4)
▪️A Truth Many Overlook
The risen, glorified Lord Jesus Christ
did something after His resurrection
that religious Christianity often minimizes.
He sent Paul.
Not as one of the twelve.
Not as a replacement apostle.
But as something distinct.
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles…”
— Romans 11:13 (KJV)
Those are Paul’s words—
written by inspiration of God.
▪️Why Paul Matters
Paul was not sent with Israel’s kingdom message.
He was not commissioned under the law.
He did not preach prophecy fulfilled.
He was sent with:
• The gospel of grace
• The revelation of the mystery
• A new dispensation
• Instructions for the Body of Christ
“According to the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward.” (Ephesians 3:2)
This is not arrogance.
This is divine appointment.
▪️The Twelve Had a Different Commission
The twelve apostles were sent:
• To Israel
• With kingdom promises
• Under covenant expectations
“Go not into the way of the Gentiles…” (Matthew 10:5)
That did not change—
until Christ revealed something new through Paul.
▪️Ignoring Paul Creates Confusion
When Paul is sidelined:
• Law creeps back in
• Grace gets diluted
• Assurance disappears
• The Bible seems contradictory
But when Paul is followed:
• The gospel becomes clear
• Salvation rests secure
• Identity in Christ stands firm
• Scripture falls into place
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1)
▪️This Is Not About Elevating a Man
It Is About Honoring Christ’s Choice
Jesus chose Paul.
Jesus revealed the mystery to Paul.
Jesus sent Paul to us Gentiles.
To ignore that choice
is to ignore the truth Christ revealed.
• You can ignore the truth.
• You cannot undo it.
• Grace stands, whether welcomed or resisted.
So believe what God says.
Follow the apostle He sent.
Rejoice in the grace He revealed.
Because truth doesn’t change—
even when it’s ignored.
