We Are Promised Heaven
If you don’t see this…
you will struggle to understand your Bible.
You will mix promises.
You will confuse programs.
You will apply things God never said to you.
But when you see it—
everything begins to fall into place.
God made real, literal promises to Israel.
Not spiritualized.
Not symbolic.
Not transferred to someone else.
“For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.”
— Genesis 13:15
An earthly people…
An earthly inheritance…
A literal kingdom on earth.
That was Israel’s hope.
A kingdom.
A throne.
A land flowing with milk and honey.
“And the LORD shall be king over all the earth.”
— Zechariah 14:9
But today—
God is doing something different.
Something hidden in ages past…
but now revealed.
“Which in other ages was not made known… as it is now revealed…”
— Ephesians 3:5
Today, God is forming the Body of Christ.
Not an earthly nation—
but a heavenly people.
Not heirs of land—
but heirs of glory.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
— Ephesians 1:3
“For our conversation is in heaven…”
— Philippians 3:20
Do you see the difference?
Israel—
• Earthly calling
• Land promises
• Kingdom on earth
The Body of Christ—
• Heavenly calling
• Spiritual blessings
• Position in Christ above
Not better.
Not worse.
Just different by design.
When you try to take Israel’s promises—
you will always feel like something is missing.
Because you’re reaching for land…
when God has given you heaven.
And when you understand what is yours—
you begin to rest.
You stop striving for earthly signs.
You stop chasing kingdom conditions.
You start living in grace.
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above…”
— Colossians 3:1
So don’t confuse the two.
Don’t mix the programs.
Don’t blur the lines God has drawn.
Israel was promised land.
We are promised heaven.
Israel looks for a kingdom to come.
We are already seated in heavenly places in Christ. (Ephesians 2:6)
That’s not just doctrine.
That’s identity.
That’s stability.
That’s rest.
Know what God promised Israel.
But rejoice in what He has given you.
Because when you do—
your Bible opens…
your hope becomes clear…
and your walk becomes steady.
Rightly divided.
Clearly understood.
Joyfully lived.
