This is where confusion begins.
Not because the Bible is unclear—
but because it is not rightly divided.
There are not two ways of salvation.
There is one Savior.
One finished work.
But there are different messages given at different times…
to different people…
for different purposes.
When Jesus walked the earth—
He preached the gospel of the kingdom.
“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
— Matthew 4:17
This message was:
• To Israel
• About a literal earthly kingdom
• Confirmed with signs and miracles
“Go not into the way of the Gentiles… but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
— Matthew 10:5–6
But after Israel’s rejection—
the risen Christ revealed something new to Paul.
A message kept secret…
now made known.
“According to the revelation of the mystery… now is made manifest.”
— Romans 16:25–26
This is the gospel of the grace of God.
“How that Christ died for our sins… was buried… and rose again…”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Do you see the difference?
Kingdom gospel—
• Earthly
• Israel-centered
• Requires signs
• Connected to prophecy
Grace gospel—
• Heavenly
• For all (Jew and Gentile)
• Without works
• Revealed as a mystery
Now here is the danger—
When you mix them…
you lose both.
You end up with:
• Grace plus works
• Faith plus performance
• Assurance replaced with fear
• Confusion instead of clarity
Paul warned about this.
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed… unto another gospel.”
— Galatians 1:6
“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.”
— Galatians 5:9
Even a small mixture—
corrupts the whole message.
If you bring kingdom conditions into grace—
you lose liberty.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty…” — Galatians 5:1
If you force grace into the kingdom program—
you ignore God’s prophetic plan for Israel.
God is not confused.
He is precise.
He means what He says—
to whom He says it.
So what do we do?
We don’t choose between Jesus and Paul.
We don’t reject one to follow the other.
We rightly divide.
We let:
• Jesus’ earthly ministry speak to Israel
• Paul’s epistles speak to the Body of Christ
Because today—
God is not preaching the kingdom.
He is offering grace.
“Be it known unto you therefore… that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.”
— Acts 13:38
Don’t mix the messages.
Don’t blur the lines.
Don’t dilute the gospel.
Because when you keep them distinct—
grace becomes clear…
Christ becomes sufficient…
and your soul finds rest.
One Savior.
One finished work.
One gospel for today—grace.
