Paul calls it “my gospel” (Romans 2:16).
Not because he invented it.
Not because he was proud.
But because it was revealed to him.
Entrusted to him.
Committed to him for us.
This is not a small detail.
It explains why his letters sound different.
Why his emphasis is different.
Why his ministry marks a dispensational shift.
Let’s walk through it slowly.
A. Salvation Is Pure Grace — Without Works
“For by grace are ye saved through faith… it is the gift of God.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9
Not by effort.
Not by rituals.
Not by law-keeping.
Not by endurance.
Christ did the work.
We believe the work.
No mixture.
No supplements.
The cross is sufficient.
Grace is complete.
B. Believers Become the Body of Christ
At salvation, something supernatural happens:
“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body…”
— 1 Corinthians 12:13
Not into Israel.
Not into a covenant nation.
But into one new man (Ephesians 2:15).
Jew and Gentile — equal.
No distinction.
No hierarchy.
No middle wall.
This was never prophesied.
It was a mystery.
C. Our Hope Is Heavenly
Israel’s hope was earthly.
A throne in Jerusalem.
A kingdom on earth.
But Paul says:
“Seated… in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
— Ephesians 2:6
“Our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven.”
— Philippians 3:20
We are not waiting to inherit the earth.
We are already blessed in heavenly places.
Different sphere.
Different calling.
Different destiny.
D. We Are Not Under the Law
Israel lived under Moses.
The Body of Christ lives under grace.
“Ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
— Romans 6:14
The Law was holy.
The Law was righteous.
But the Law is not our rule of life.
Grace is not law-lite.
Grace is a different administration.
We serve in newness of spirit.
Not in the oldness of the letter.
E. This Gospel Was a Mystery
Paul calls it:
• “The mystery” (Eph. 3:3–6)
• “Hidden from ages and generations” (Col. 1:26)
• “Kept secret since the world began” (Rom. 16:25)
Not revealed to the prophets.
Not preached in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John.
Not proclaimed at Pentecost.
It was made known when Christ saved Paul in Acts 9.
This is God’s program for today.
From Paul’s apostleship
until the catching away of the Church.
This is why rightly dividing matters.
It protects grace.
It clarifies Scripture.
It magnifies the cross.
Not to divide the Bible into pieces —
but to understand it the way God unfolded it.
Jesus preached the Kingdom to Israel.
Paul reveals the mystery to the Body of Christ.
Both true.
Both inspired.
But not the same commission.
And when you see it…
The Bible opens.
Grace deepens.
Assurance strengthens.
And the finished work of Christ shines brighter than ever.
