If you don’t see God’s timeline, you will mix everything.
Commands that aren’t yours.
Promises that aren’t yours.
Programs that aren’t yours.
But God has already given the outline—clearly:
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh…”
“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
“That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace…”
— Ephesians 2:11–13, 7
Three simple divisions:
👉 TIME PAST
👉 BUT NOW
👉 AGES TO COME
Miss this… and everything blurs together.
See this… and the Bible opens up.
👉 TIME PAST
This is where God was dealing with Israel.
An earthly people.
An earthly kingdom.
Under the Law.
“You only have I known of all the families of the earth…” (Amos 3:2)
The Gentiles?
Strangers.
Aliens.
Without hope.
“Without Christ… aliens from the commonwealth of Israel… having no hope, and without God in the world.” (Ephesians 2:12)
God’s program was Prophecy—
spoken since the world began.
👉 BUT NOW
Everything changes here.
Not gradually.
Not partially.
But a complete dispensational shift.
“But now in Christ Jesus…”
This is the Dispensation of Grace.
This is the Mystery—
“kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25)
Revealed to one man:
“I am the apostle of the Gentiles.” (Romans 11:13)
The Apostle Paul.
Today, God is not forming a nation.
He is forming a Body.
👉 Not Israel
👉 But the Body of Christ
👉 Not under Law
👉 But under Grace
👉 Not an earthly kingdom
👉 But a heavenly calling
“Blessed… with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
And the way of salvation?
Still simple.
Still clear.
👉 Not works
👉 Not religion
👉 Not performance
“But to him that worketh not, but believeth…” (Romans 4:5)
Believe what?
“Christ died for our sins… was buried… and rose again the third day.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
That is enough.
👉 AGES TO COME
This is future.
God will resume His program with Israel.
The kingdom will come.
Prophecy will be fulfilled.
But something else will be displayed too—
The Body of Christ.
“That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace…”
We will be a testimony—
Of grace.
Of mercy.
Of what God can do through Christ.
So where are we?
Not in Time Past.
Not yet in Ages to Come.
We are in the BUT NOW.
Right here.
Right now.
The Dispensation of Grace.
And this matters.
Because if you live in Time Past…
you will put yourself under the Law.
If you jump to Ages to Come…
you will chase the kingdom.
But if you stand in But Now…
👉 You will rest in grace
👉 You will follow Paul’s doctrine
👉 You will understand your identity in Christ
Don’t mix the timeline.
Don’t confuse the programs.
Rightly divide.
Stand where God has placed you—
IN CHRIST… in the BUT NOW.
And rejoice…
Because today, salvation is free, full, and finished.
