One of the greatest reasons for confusion in Christianity is this:
People are trying to live under every part of the Bible at the same time.
They mix God’s program for Israel with God’s program for the Body of Christ.
The result?
Confusion.
Contradictions.
Traditions that seem biblical—but are actually taken from different dispensations.
The answer is not to throw away Scripture.
The answer is to rightly divide it.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth.”
— 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
👉 Israel vs. the Body of Christ
Jesus’ earthly ministry was “to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24).
Israel was promised an earthly kingdom under prophecy.
But when Israel rejected her Messiah, God revealed something “kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25)—the Mystery committed to the Apostle Paul.
Today, God is forming the Body of Christ, made up of believing Jews and Gentiles in one new man (Ephesians 2:15).
Not Israel.
Not spiritual Israel.
A new creature.
👉 Law vs. Grace
Many churches preach grace…
…but still place believers under practices that belonged to Israel’s covenant program.
They mix law with grace.
Paul says plainly:
“For ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
— Romans 6:14 (KJV)
Grace is not law improved.
Grace is God’s present administration through the revelation given to Paul.
👉 Prophecy vs. Mystery
Prophecy was spoken since the world began (Acts 3:21).
The Mystery was kept secret since the world began (Romans 16:25).
Those are not the same program.
When they are blended together, doctrines become confusing.
When they are rightly divided, the Bible fits together beautifully.
👉 Why Paul matters
Paul did not replace Christ.
Paul was chosen by the risen, glorified Christ to reveal truth that had been hidden.
He could say:
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles…”
— Romans 11:13 (KJV)
And the message committed to him is the gospel that saves today:
“…how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 (KJV)
This is the gospel of the grace of God.
This is our message today.
Not kingdom signs.
Not covenant requirements.
Not Israel’s prophetic program.
👉 The application
Read all of the Bible.
Believe all of the Bible.
But don’t confuse God’s different programs.
Right division doesn’t divide the Bible into pieces.
It lets every passage say exactly what God intended.
When you understand Israel and the Body of Christ…
When you understand Law and Grace…
When you understand Prophecy and Mystery…
The Bible stops contradicting itself.
It begins to make perfect sense.
Rightly divide the Word of Truth—and watch the whole Bible come alive.
