A Word of Clarity. A Word of Comfort. A Word of Hope.
There is something powerful about simply believing the Word of God.
Paul told the Thessalonians that when they received the Word, they received it “not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe” (1 Thess. 2:13).
That was their strength.
That was their stability.
That was their testimony.
And that is where we must begin.
▪️The Rapture — A Mystery Revealed
The catching away of the Body of Christ was not revealed in prophecy.
It was not spoken by the prophets.
It was not part of Israel’s kingdom program.
It was revealed through the Apostle Paul.
“Behold, I shew you a mystery…” (1 Cor. 15:51)
“The Lord himself shall descend from heaven… and we… shall be caught up…” (1 Thess. 4:16–17)
The word “caught up” carries the idea of being snatched away — suddenly, decisively, completely.
This is our Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13).
Not the tribulation.
Not the Antichrist.
Not wrath.
But Christ.
▪️Rightly Dividing Matters
If we do not rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15), confusion is inevitable.
Prophecy speaks of:
• Signs.
• Wrath.
• The Day of the Lord.
• Christ returning to the earth in judgment.
Mystery truth reveals:
• No signs.
• No wrath for the Body of Christ.
• A heavenly calling.
• Christ meeting us in the air.
These are not the same events.
At the rapture:
• Christ comes for His saints.
• We meet Him in the air.
• It is imminent — no prophetic signs required.
At the Second Coming:
• Christ comes with His saints.
• His feet stand upon the Mount of Olives (Zech. 14:4).
• It follows specific prophetic signs and judgments.
Two programs.
Two purposes.
Two distinct revelations.
When we mix them, we blur the beauty of both.
▪️No Signs — Just Faith
God is not giving signs today.
We walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7).
Date setting?
Attaching the rapture to Jewish feast days?
Chasing celestial alignments or internet predictions?
That is not faith.
That is speculation.
Paul never told the Body of Christ to watch for signs.
He told us to:
• Stand fast (2 Thess. 2:15).
• Comfort one another with these words (1 Thess. 4:18).
• Study the Word rightly divided (2 Tim. 2:15).
The Scripture is sufficient.
▪️Why Pre-Tribulation?
Because we are not appointed to wrath (1 Thess. 5:9).
Because the Body of Christ is a mystery people with a heavenly destiny (Eph. 2:6–7).
Because the tribulation belongs to Israel’s prophetic program — “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7).
The rapture ends the Dispensation of Grace.
Then prophecy resumes.
Grace first.
Wrath later.
The Church caught up.
Israel refined on earth.
That is consistency.
That is clarity.
That is right division.
▪️The Right Response
Doctrine is not meant to inflate the mind.
It is meant to transform the life.
Paul connects the Blessed Hope with daily living:
1. Love His Appearing
“A crown… unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Tim. 4:8).
Do we long for Him?
Or are we clinging too tightly to this world?
2. Look for It
“Looking for that blessed hope…” (Titus 2:13).
Not calculating dates.
Not chasing signs.
But living with expectation.
It could be today.
It could be tonight.
3. Live in Light of It
We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20).
If He could call us home at any moment:
• Our priorities change.
• Our speech changes.
• Our focus sharpens.
• Our urgency increases.
Imminence purifies.
Hope motivates.
Grace teaches us to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11–12).
The pre-tribulation rapture is not escapism.
It is encouragement.
It is not fantasy.
It is Pauline revelation.
It is not sensationalism.
It is Scripture rightly divided.
Believe the Word.
Rest in grace.
Serve faithfully.
Look upward.
The trumpet will sound.
And when it does —
we will be caught up,
caught away,
caught home.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
