But Don’t Walk Away from Christ
Maybe you walked away.
From church.
From tradition.
From everything that felt heavy… confusing… exhausting.
And honestly?
I understand.
Because what many people experienced wasn’t grace—
It was pressure.
Performance.
Expectation without peace.
▪️BUT DON’T CONFUSE RELIGION WITH CHRIST
Religion says:
• Do more
• Try harder
• Fix yourself first
But Christ says something entirely different:
“To him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
(Romans 4:5 KJV)
Religion burdens.
Christ gives rest.
▪️YOU MAY HAVE LEFT THE SYSTEM—BUT CHRIST NEVER LEFT YOU
You can walk away from rituals.
You can walk away from man-made systems.
But don’t walk away from the One who:
• Loved you
• Died for you
• Paid for your sins completely
“Christ died for our sins… and rose again.”
(1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV)
That’s not religion.
That’s good news.
▪️THIS IS WHAT GRACE LOOKS LIKE
No ladder to climb.
No system to maintain.
No performance to prove.
“To him that worketh not, but believeth…”
(Romans 4:5 KJV)
Salvation is not about what you do for God—
It’s about what Christ already did for you.
▪️MAYBE THIS IS WHAT YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR
Not religion.
Not rules.
Not another system.
But truth.
Clarity.
Rest.
And it’s found in a Person—
The Lord Jesus Christ.
▪️SO HERE’S THE INVITATION
If you’ve walked away from religion…
That might not be the worst thing.
But don’t walk away from Christ.
Come to Him.
Trust Him.
Rest in what He already finished.
Because at the end of the day—
Religion didn’t save you.
Christ did.
