You Don't Bring the Kingdom to Earth Today—You're Seated in Heavenly Places

Written by Ralph Mark B. Malinao

One of the biggest reasons Christians become confused is because they fail to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

Many believers are trying to establish the Kingdom on earth today.

But is that the message Christ gave to the Body of Christ?

Not according to the revelation committed to the Apostle Paul.

👉 Israel’s hope was an earthly kingdom.

Jesus and the Twelve proclaimed:

“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17, KJV)

Their expectation was the restoration of Israel’s kingdom on earth (Acts 1:6).

That belongs to Prophecy.

👉 Our hope is different.

Paul writes:

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6, KJV)

Notice the difference.

Not bringing heaven down.

Already seated in heavenly places.

Not an earthly calling.

A heavenly calling.

👉 This is the Mystery revealed to Paul.

The Body of Christ was:

• Hidden from ages and generations.
• Revealed first to Paul.
• Separate from Israel’s prophetic program.

Paul says:

“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles…” (Romans 11:13, KJV)

That is why we must distinguish:

👉 Israel vs. the Body of Christ

• Israel’s hope: an earthly kingdom.
• The Body’s hope: heavenly places in Christ.

👉 Law vs. Grace

• Israel lived under God’s covenant program.
• Today we stand in the dispensation of the grace of God (Ephesians 3:2).

👉 Prophecy vs. Mystery

• Prophecy spoke of the kingdom since the world began.
• The Mystery was “kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25, KJV).

Our message today is not to prepare the world for the Kingdom.

Our message is to preach the gospel of the grace of God:

“How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, KJV)

This gospel saves.

This gospel justifies.

This gospel places us into the Body of Christ by grace through faith.

So don’t confuse Israel’s earthly kingdom program with the Church, the Body of Christ.

Don’t mix Prophecy with Mystery.

Don’t mix Law with Grace.

Rightly divide.
Believe Paul’s gospel.
Rest in your heavenly position in Christ.

Because today—

You don’t bring the kingdom to earth.

You’re already seated in heavenly places.
